This Privacy Policy describes Our policies and procedures on the collection, use and disclosure of Your information when You use the MindQuest mobile application (the "Application") and tells You about Your privacy rights and how the law protects You.

We use Your Personal data to provide and improve the Application. By using the Application, You agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Interpretation and Definitions

Definitions

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy:

• Application refers to MindQuest, the software program provided by the Developer.
• Developer (referred to as either "We", "Us" or "Our" in this Agreement) refers to the individual developer of MindQuest, based in Romania.
• Country refers to: Romania
• Device means any device that can access the Application such as a smartphone or a tablet.
• Personal Data is any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual.
• Service refers to the Application.
• Service Provider means any natural or legal person who processes the data on behalf of the Developer (e.g., Google AdMob, RevenueCat).
• Usage Data refers to data collected automatically, either generated by the use of the Application or from the Application infrastructure itself.
• You means the individual accessing or using the Application.

Collecting and Using Your Personal Data

Types of Data Collected

Personal Data

The Application does NOT require You to create an account, and we do NOT collect any personally identifiable information such as:

• Name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Physical address
• Date of birth

Usage Data

Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Application. Usage Data may include information such as:

• Your Device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address) — collected by AdMob
• Device type, operating system and version
• Advertising identifier (AAID on Android, IDFA on iOS)
• Time and date of Application usage
• Application crash reports (if any)
• Pages or screens viewed within the Application

Locally Stored Data

The Application stores the following data locally on Your Device only (not transmitted to us):

• Game statistics (scores, games played, correct answers, achievements)
• User settings (sound preferences, username used in-game)
• Daily challenge progress
• A randomly generated anonymous device identifier for analytics

This local data can be cleared at any time by uninstalling the Application or by clearing app data in Your device settings.

Use of Your Personal Data

The Developer may use Usage Data for the following purposes:

• To provide and maintain our Service, including monitoring usage.
• To display advertisements through Google AdMob, including personalized advertising based on Your advertising identifier (with Your consent).
• To improve the Application, to analyze trends and understand how the Service is used.
• To detect, prevent and address technical issues and prevent fraud or abuse.
• To process in-app purchases through Google Play Store or Apple App Store via RevenueCat.

Sharing Your Personal Data

We may share Your data with:

• Google AdMob (Google LLC, USA): For displaying advertisements. Google AdMob may collect and use data according to its own privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

• Legal authorities: When required by law.

We do NOT sell Your personal data to third parties.

Third-Party Services

The Application uses the following third-party services:

International Data Transfers

Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than Your own, including the United States, where our third-party service providers (such as Google AdMob and RevenueCat) are located. Such transfers are made under the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

Retention of Your Personal Data

The Developer does not retain any Personal Data directly. Data collected by Google AdMob and RevenueCat is retained according to their respective retention policies. Locally stored data on Your Device is retained until You uninstall the Application or clear its data.

Your Rights Under GDPR (For Users in the EU/EEA/UK)

If You are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, You have certain data protection rights. The Developer aims to take reasonable steps to allow You to correct, amend, delete, or limit the use of Your Personal Data.

You have the following rights:

• The right to access, update or delete the information We have on You.
• The right of rectification — to have Your information corrected if inaccurate.
• The right to object to Our processing of Your Personal Data.
• The right of restriction — to request that We restrict the processing of Your information.
• The right to data portability — to receive a copy of Your data.
• The right to withdraw consent at any time where the Developer relied on Your consent. You can manage your advertising consent at any time from the Settings menu within the Application.

Opting Out of Personalized Advertising

You can opt out of personalized advertising by:

• Within the Application: Go to Settings → Confidențialitate → Setări reclame (GDPR) to update Your consent preferences.
• On Android: Go to Settings → Google → Ads → Enable "Opt out of Ads Personalization"
• On iOS: Go to Settings → Privacy → Apple Advertising → Disable "Personalized Ads"

In-App Purchases

The Application offers an optional in-app purchase ("Remove Ads") that removes banner and interstitial advertisements. This purchase is processed by Google Play (Android) or Apple App Store (iOS), and we do not collect or store any payment information. Refund requests must be directed to the respective platform (Google Play or Apple App Store) according to their refund policies.

Purchase status is verified through RevenueCat, a third-party service used to manage in-app purchases. RevenueCat may collect a randomly generated user identifier and your purchase history to enable cross-device synchronization of your purchases. Notifications

With your permission, the Application may send local notifications to your device to remind you about daily challenges or new features. These notifications are scheduled on your device and do not require any data transmission to our servers. You can disable notifications at any time from your device settings or from within the Application.

Cornilescu Bible Translation

The Bible questions in the Application use the Cornilescu Romanian translation, which is in the public domain in Romania.

Children's Privacy

The Application is not directed to individuals under the age of 13 (or 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If You are a parent or guardian and You are aware that Your child has provided Us with Personal Data, please contact Us. If We become aware that We have collected Personal Data from a child, We will take steps to remove that information.

Security

The security of Your data is important to Us. The Application uses industry-standard security measures including HTTPS for all network communications. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and We cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update Our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify You of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
